Rational Progression Tables in GW2
The progression tables for Lightbringer, Kurzick/Luxon, etc in GW1 only promote a grind mentatlity. If they do similar faction style hunt rank bonus type things in GW2 could the progression tables be a lot saner. 100,000 Kurzick/Luxon to get to 1, 150,000 to level 2, 150,000 to level 3 ... 25,000,000 to level 11 25,000,000 to level 12 is a strange arbitrary levelling progression. Why not use the D20 style rule of +100,000 to get to 1 ... +1,200,000 to get to level 12 instead in GW2. Promote the idea that grind is bad and promotion through game play is good.

Because without grind in GW, no one would be playing because the PvE content in this game sucks.
And no, skill > time doesn't exist. It's a myth.

AuraofMana grind does exactly the opposite for me and many others.
It stops me wanting to play.
I would much rather see 0 grind than low ammounts of grind.

I would play PvE if there was no grind, but, since grind makes it suck, I don't PvE.
Skill > Time exists in PvP at any rate.

I think this makes a lot of sense. Who wants to spend hour after hour grinding just to be able to wear armor? Titles like the Protector and such are one thing, but constantly going to the same place, killing the same monsters, etc.? That has to go.

I would make all achievements, titles quests and such account based, and make character based only items hold skills known and level.

100% agreed. This is excatly what gw2 really needs. If theres quest title track it should be account based. But you should be able to to quest on another char if you have already done it on another. And of course one quests counts ones, as well missions, reputations and such stuff.

Welll, maybe diferences in quests during the starting quests or those quests unique to profession or race, but the rest could be perfectly shared.
